Individual approach
There is as much preparation and planning needed for a funeral ceremony as there is for a wedding or any other significant ceremony that marks a milestone in our lives. So it goes without saying that when we have a bereavement and must arrange our loved one's funeral, it is a difficult time to consider multi-faceted logistics and make various cost-related decisions. Thankfully, we are blessed with an abundance of excellent funeral directors. However, all of them would agree that pre-planning is a good idea.
Personal consultations
At the heart of your plan will be the actual funeral service. Creating your own bespoke ceremony can not only be empowering and cathartic, but it will lift the burden from your loved ones. Using a celebrant to assist you with this process will help you explore all the options regarding poems, music, speeches, and even the location of your ceremony. Don't hesitate to contact me and arrange a complimentary consultation.

About me
I came to this business after thirty years of working in theatre and television as a writer, actor and producer. Creating a narrative and presenting it in a meaningful and memorable way is something that I've been doing professionally for a long time. I have also worked in all aspects of the funeral business, which enables me to work smoothly with funeral directors, graveyard and crematorium personnel to ensure a perfect service.
What is a civil funeral service?
There is a misconception that a civil funeral service cannot be religious. This is not true. I have done many Christian services. In fact, it would be correct to say that a high percentage of people I work with have moved away from the formal church but not from God or their religious beliefs. I have created services for people who are spiritual, agnostic and atheist. The truth is that no two services are, or should be, the same since no two people are the same. You are unique.
What does a civil celebrant do?
My goal is to help you create a truly memorable service that reflects you and your loved one.
Our journey begins with a consultation. I will visit with you, and we will spend the time it takes to find our way into the heart of the service. I will provide support and guidance throughout the planning process, helping you choose and source your music, readings, and poems, and crafting your eulogy.
If you have any questions, hit the contact button, and I will answer you ASAP.
